Why We Exist

Our Mission

Clearwater Children's Foundation exists to break intergenerational cycles of poverty by providing equal access to high-quality academic tutoring, school supplies, and food security for elementary children in high-need Toronto neighborhoods.

Our Vision

A Greater Toronto Area where every elementary student enters the classroom nourished, fully equipped with learning materials, and supported by a caring community mentor.

Our Growth Journey

2017

Foundation Established

Founded by retired Toronto educators starting with 15 tutored students in Scarborough.

2020

Launch of Meal Support Program

Expanded services during pandemic school closures to deliver weekend grocery kits to 400 families.

2023

TDSB Official Partner

Formalized partnership across 15 Toronto elementary schools with 300+ volunteer tutors.

2026

1,200+ Children Supported Annually

Operating across Scarborough, North York, and East York with $487K in community funding.
